Do you treat fistula without a long hospital stay?
Many fistulas are treated as day-care or one-night stay procedures. The surgeon explains the plan after examination and an MRI where required.
Is laparoscopic hernia repair better than open repair?
It often means less pain and quicker recovery, but the best method depends on the type and size of the hernia and your health.
What is VAC therapy?
Vacuum-assisted closure uses a sealed foam dressing with gentle suction to help difficult wounds heal. It is used after the wound is cleaned.
Can all cysts and lumps be removed?
Most sebaceous cysts and lipomas can be removed as a short procedure. Any lump is examined first.
